We have recently prepared a course for you to prepare for the ICAO English Language Proficiency Test (ICAO EN Exam). The aim of this short course is to prepare you for success on the ICAO English Exam. Success in this case means achieving a score of 4 or above.
The second, related aim of this course is to help you to become a safe, efficient and effective communicator, in a worldwide industry where safe, efficient and effective communication is highly valued… and essential.
Lucky for us, language acquisition is not a purely intellectual endeavor. Understanding and producing language successfully is the combined result of necessity, passion, repetition, and—yes—fun! That is why this short course incorporates various multimedia, simulations and other activities designed to enhance various components of Aviation English, as well as your ICAO test-taking skills. Included are two hours devoted to flights to/from controlled/uncontrolled airports, and one hour devoted to an entire ICAO exam simulation at the end.
BLUE SKY AVIATION is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as the ICAO English Testing Organization.

The EASA standards offer pilots new type of instrument rating course for single-engine (SE) airplanes the Basic instrument rating (BIR(A)). The BIR qualification is suitable for private pilots, holders of a PPL (A) license, who require maximum flexibility in their flights and want to fly safely and legally even in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC).
The BIR is simplified instrument rating replacing the En-road Instrument Rating (EIR) and aimed at private pilots who intend to fly under instrument condition.
The BIR qualification has a simplified theory and shortened flight training compared to the classic instrument qualification for professional pilots Instrument Rating IR(A). However, the only difference compared to the IR qualification is the higher limits of meteorological conditions under which the pilot is entitled to fly with this qualification. More in instrument rating types comparison table IR/CBIR/BIR.
BLUE SKY AVIATION is the first flight school in the Czech Republic with the right to provide pilot training to obtain the Basic Instrument Rating license, both a flight training course and a separate theory course:
