Flying in high temperatures? Why high temperatures are not beneficial for aircraft, and what are the reasons why?
Blue skies are ideal for flying, but high temperatures close to 40°C are not. Heatwaves affect flying as well. On the ground, below it, and above it, it’s necessary to monitor the heat. This is because the air becomes thinner, and for pilots, this means different – more complex conditions.
