The ATPL(A) Modular Course – Airline Transport Pilot Licence is designed for applicants aiming for a career as a professional pilot in civil aviation. No prior flight experience is required to start the training.
The goal of the program is to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL(A)) with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME/IR), including the Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course and Advanced UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training).
Upon successful completion, graduates will be eligible to apply for positions as First Officers on multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft in commercial air transport.
Within the ATPL(A) modular training program, any qualification level or licence obtained on aeroplanes under the EASA system can be credited towards the training.
Helicopter flight experience may be credited up to 100 hours of total flight time, including a maximum of 30 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), but it does not reduce the required aeroplane flight training, which must be completed in full.
Graduates of the ATPL(A) Modular Course will obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence CPL(A) and all required ratings to work as professional pilots on multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft in commercial air transport with any airline operating under EASA (European) regulations.
The ATPL(A) Modular Training Programme consists of:
Covers 13 EASA subjects with a total of 750 hours of training, including 88 hours of live online instruction and 662 hours of computer-based training (CBT) delivered remotely.
ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Subjects:
Includes 240 hours total flight time, of which 50 hours are conducted in a certified flight simulator.
The training syllabus combines flight exercises and theoretical briefings.
During the course, successful graduates will obtain the following:
The price you will have to pay to learn to fly and obtain a pilot’s license varies from person to person and depends on many factors. The price should not be the main factor in deciding where to get your pilot’s license. When it comes to flight training, cheap is rarely good.
Basic factors affecting the cost of training:
Your goals in flying have a significant impact on how your overall flight training will be conducted. If you want to fly only recreationally, training in an aircraft with lighter avionics will be significantly cheaper than compared to a businessman or future professional pilot.
The price of pilot training for individual pilot licenses is set in connection with the number of flight hours in the curriculum, the time of ground preparations, and theoretical instruction in the classroom. Further, it is necessary to count additional expenses for landing and other airport fees and fees for exams at authorities and payments for obtaining necessary permits for training.
In our flight school, you receive the following for your training FREE of charge:
