JOC – Jet Orientation Course

In accordance with EASA standards: PART-FCL

The JOC / Jet Orientation Course is designed for pilots who are about to enter type rating training to work as a commercial or airline pilot on multi-pilot aircraft (MPA) and have no previous experience with modern jet aircraft. JOC training is an asset in airline recruitment.
The Jet Orientation Course (JOC) prepares pilots prior to entering type rating training for turbine aircraft. The training emphasizes the acquisition of procedures and skills in piloting modern turbine aircraft. Differences in jet engine aircraft handling, high altitude flying, climb, descent, approach, holding, landing procedures, FMS training.
Training is both theoretical and practical. Practical training takes place on a simulator. Completion of the training is confirmed by a certificate of completion.

Requirements

Theory Training:

Consultations with a professional instructor, an A320 captain, are conducted in person in the classroom or online according to the preference of the students in the course.

The theoretical knowledge training in total: 8 hours of consultation in the classroom or online


Flight training:

Our instructors are highly esperienced, current or formal captains of A320 with thousands of hours in cockpit of A320 and hours of pilot training will teach you everything you need to be successful in airline assessment.

Total flight training hours: 8 hours

  • With an instructor: 8 hours in a FNPT II simulator for multi-crew cooperation training.
  • Training is conducted in a 2-crew setup
