CAREER

The aim of the Take-off and landing training EMB-500 (Phenom 100) / EMB-505 (Phenom 300) course is to train aeroplane license holders to the level of proficiency necessary for the issue of EMB-500 (Phenom 100) / EMB-505 (Phenom 300) Type Rating.

An airplane take off and landing training may be completed after the pilot has completed the simulator (FSTD) training for EMB-500 (Phenom 100) / EMB-505 (Phenom 300) Type Rating and has successfully undertaken the type rating skill test.

Requirements:

Flight training:

The flight training includes:

  • 6 landing training – at least six landings; or
  • 4 landing training – at least four landings in the case of MPAs (or single-pilot high-performance complex aeroplanes (SP HPAs)) where the student pilot has more than 500 hours of MPA experience (or SPA experience) in aeroplanes of similar size and performance;
  • at least one full-stop landing; and
  • one go-around with all engines operating

Theoretical knowledge lessons:

  • Classroom lessons: N/A (theory lessons are part of the simulator training)

Length of training:

  • intensive training: 1 day
