Career
The night rating qualification is an essential qualification for professional pilots. You need the qualification Night before you start the commercial pilot training CPL(A) or IR qualification to obtain rights for instrument flights at night.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 17 years of age
- Private pilot license for an airplane – PPL(A)
- At least 45 hours total flight time
Flight training:
Total hours of flight training: 5 hours
- of which with an instructor in dual flights: 3 h*
- solo flights: 5 take-offs and 5 landings
- of which 1 hour navigation flight with an instructor of at least 50 km (27 NM), during which the pilot will make 1 landing at an airport other than the airport of departure
