PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE FOR HELICOPTERS – PPL(H)

FLIGHT SCHOOL BLUE SKY AVIATION

The Private Pilot License for Helicopters PPL(H) authorizes a pilot to conduct private, recreational or sport flights in a single-engine helicopter during daylight and while there is still ground visibility. The licensee is only allowed to operate flights for private purposes, can take passengers on board but cannot fly for a fee. The Private Pilot License is the basic license for anyone interested in undergoing pilot training who wishes to become a professional pilot.

CAREER – PRIVATE PILOT FOR HELICOPTERS

The Private Pilot License for Helicopters PPL(H) is the basic license for starting a career as a professional helicopter pilot. Although holding a license is the first step in a professional aviation career, it only entitles the licensee to fly for private purposes, i.e. he/she is not authorised to fly for a fee. However, with a PPL(H) license, if you gain the required flight experience and relevant theory, you can become an instructor at a private pilot training school.
