The Ultralight Aircraft Pilot License (ULL) is designed for hobby, recreational, and sports flying. It allows holders to typically fly 2-seat aircraft in the Ultralight (UL) category.
For holders of glider and ultralight glider pilot licenses, the training may be shortened based on the assessment of the pilot’s knowledge and skills by the ULL inspector.
Holders of airplane pilot licenses (PPL, CPL, ATPL) can only undergo a flight test after retraining for the specific type.
Holders of gyrocopter, helicopter, and motorized hang glider pilot licenses must complete the entire syllabus of ULL piloting techniques. Navigation training may be waived.
This license allows the pilot to fly a single-engine aircraft in the ultralight category (UL) or a sports flying equipment (SLZ).

Further, it is necessary to count additional expenses for landing and other airport fees and fees for exams at authorities and payments for obtaining necessary permits for training.
