THEORY COURSES FOR HELICOPTER PILOTS

CPL(H) The course of theoretical instruction – commercial pilot (helicopter) is intended for those interested in training to obtain a commercial pilot licence CPL(H). To start the course it is necessary to hold a PPL(H).

The PPL(H) Private Pilot (Helicopter) theory course is designed for those interested in training for the PPL(H) – Private Pilot Licence or LAPL(H) – Light Helicopter Pilot Licence. The PPL(H) theory examination is a prerequisite for obtaining the PPL(H) – Private Pilot Licence or LAPL(H) – Light Helicopter Pilot Licence.

PROFESSIONAL HELICOPTER PILOT TRAINING COURSES

The PPL(H) private helicopter pilot licence entitles the pilot to conduct private, recreational or sport flights in the helicopter for which he/she has a type rating in daylight and in ground visibility. The licence holder is authorised to make flights for private purposes only, may take passengers on board but cannot fly for remuneration.

NIGHT(H) – The night rating (helicopter) is a necessary rating for a professional pilot, but is also suitable for private helicopter pilots. HELICOPTER PRIVATE PILOT TRAINING COURSES

The private pilot licence for “light” helicopters entitles the pilot to conduct private, recreational or sport flights in single-engine helicopters with a maximum approved take-off weight of 2 000 kg or less and with a maximum of 3 passengers on board.
The licence holder shall be limited to flying only the type of helicopter for which he/she has been approved during training or has been retrained in a flight school for another type of helicopter.
With an LAPL, you may only fly during daylight hours and when the ground is visible.
