The CB-IR(A) Competency based instrument rating is intended for pilots with previous instrument flying experience, but is not a prerequisite. This rating is equivalent to the Instrument rating – IR(A) for professional pilots.

The Instrument rating IR (A) allows the pilot to conduct flights in meteorological conditions where visibility is so reduced that it is necessary to use instruments to control the aeroplane at any stage of the flight.

More  →

The CPL(A) Commercial Pilot Licence is the first milestone in a professional aviation career, in practice this means you can already fly commercially for pay. Together with the Night rating and Instrument rating IR(A), you can fly day and night in almost any weather conditions.

The MEP (Multi-Engine Piston) class rating entitles the pilot to fly multi-engine piston aircraft under Visual Flight Rules (VFR)

Extension of the MEP class rating to include instrument flying training, the MEP IR (Multi-Engine Instrument Rating) endorsement.

The MCC certificate or multi-crew cooperation course is required to work as an airline pilot on multi-pilot aircraft (MPA). MCC training is required for airline recruitment.

The Advanced UPRT rating is designed primarily for professional pilots to enhance their piloting skills. It is a prerequisite for the training of airline pilots. The Advanced UPRT certificate is required for pilots who wish to operate a multi-pilot aircraft (MPA).

THEORY COURSES FOR PILOTS

The ATPL(A) is the highest level of pilot licence. Only a pilot who has completed an ATPL(A) theory course at an approved training organization (ATO) and successfully passed the Civil Aviation Authority’s ATPL Theory Examination may obtain an Airline Transport Pilot Licence – ATPL(A).

More  →

The CPL(A) Commercial Pilot Theory course is designed for all pilots who want to fly as a commercial pilot, i.e. for money, but their goal is not the cockpit of a airline transport aircraft. Graduates of the CPL(A) theory course take the Commercial Pilot Theory Examination at the Civil Aviation Authority.

More  →

The IR(A) Instrument Rating Theory course is designed for all pilots who wish to fly privately in low visibility conditions, called instrument meteorological conditions (IMC). The course is not suitable for those interested in flying professionally as a airline transport pilot. Airline pilots are required to complete the airline pilot – ATPL(A) theory course.

The BIR(A) Basic Instrument Rating Theory course is intended for all pilots who wish to fly privately in low visibility instrument meteorological conditions (IMC). This rating has a simplified theory and shortened flight training compared to the instrument rating for professional IR(A) pilots.

The PPL(A) Theoretical Training Course – Private Pilot (Airplane) is designed for individuals interested in training to obtain either a Private Pilot License PPL(A) or a Light Aircraft Pilot License LAPL(A). No prior flying experience is required to start the course. Upon completion of the course, graduates can subsequently apply for the private pilot theory exam at the Civil Aviation Authority in any EU member state.

TRAINING COURSES FOR FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS

The FI(A) flight instructor may be any pilot licensed as a private (PPL), commercial (CPL) or airline transport (ATPL) pilot with appropriate flight experience and theoretical knowledge for each type of pilot training, i.e. from a private pilot instructor to an instrument flight instructor to a commercial pilot instructor.

The Instrument Rating Instructor – IRI(A) qualification entitles the instructor to conduct training for obtaining an instrument rating in low visibility conditions both in an aircraft and in a certified FNPT type simulator.

More  →

The CRI ME(A) instructor class rating entitles the instructor to instruct for a multi-engine aeroplane rating.

The Multi-Crew Cooperation Instructor (MCCI) qualification prepares professional pilots with experience in multi-pilot aircraft as instructors to train pilots for the Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) rating.

The Advanced UPRT isntructor qualification is designed for instructors to extend their instructor qualifications.
