CAREER – PRIVATE PILOT FOR HELICOPTERS
The Private Pilot License for Helicopters PPL(H) is the basic license for starting a career as a professional helicopter pilot.
Although holding a license is the first step in a professional aviation career, it only entitles the licensee to fly for private purposes, i.e. he/she is not authorised to fly for a fee.
However, with a PPL(H) license, if you gain the required flight experience and relevant theory, you can become an instructor at a private pilot training school.

Career – light aircraft pilot license for helicopters
The Light Aircraft Pilot License for Helicopters is intended primarily for hobby and recreational flying. Entitles the licensee to fly on single-engine helicopters with a maximum certificated take-off mass of 2 000 kg or less, carrying a maximum of 3 passengers.
The holder of this license is not entitled to fly for a fee.
The license may be extended to a Private Pilot License PPL(H), which is the basic license for a career as a professional helicopter pilot.

The Commercial Pilot License for Helicopters CPL(H) entitles you to fly as a professional pilot. Holders of a commercial pilot license with an appropriate helicopter type rating may apply for the job as a helicopter pilot at police or rescue services, as private pilots or as flight instructors.
